Iceland in Black and White
Back to Iceland, which is never far from my thoughts. Casting these photographs in black and white makes the textures of the volcanic landscape sharp and clear - basalt columns, rocky plains, calm seas, skies that are sometimes heavy, sometimes lazy, sometimes clear, low grasses, and rough mosses that are dramatic and sweeping.
